The selection process
- The process is based on the list of selection criteria and expectations provided by the families.
- Au pair candidates are screened based on their personality, educational background, suitability for childcare, relevant work experience, motivation, and adaptability.
- We conduct online interviews with all candidates and provide them with detailed information about the au pair program so they can have a realistic understanding and make an informed decision about participation.
- Our goal is for both parties in the program to be fully satisfied!
- The search and selection process usually takes 4–6 weeks.

Steps in the au pair placement process
- After your application, we provide a detailed online au pair program briefing so you can introduce your family and learn about our agency’s work. During the online meeting, we clarify your family’s expectations, the tasks, and explain the program rules.
- If you are satisfied with our introduction and we see that we can work together, we sign a contract.
- We create your family profile to find the ideal au pair.
- We start advertising the au pair position.
- We interview candidates and prepare the au pair profiles.
- We organize the interview between your family and the selected au pair.
- After a successful interview, we prepare the au pair contract.
- The chosen au pair is prepared for the program, integration, and daily tasks through au pair training and the au pair handbook.
- We provide your family with a family handbook and useful tips to ensure a successful and rewarding au pair program.
- Upon request, we assist with organizing the au pair’s travel arrangements.
